SUBMISSION RULES

General information

Authors should check the following items before submission:

– The text must be protected against viruses by scanning it with a properly updated antivirus.

– Entries must be submitted without any identification or indication of authorship in the “property” field and in the body of the work.

– CPF number of all Brazilian authors is required to register the authorship in the system (for foreign authors, the passport number).

– Each author may submit up to three articles for evaluation in which he or she appears as an author or co-author. Each article can have up to 5 authors.

– Submit only one work at a time and submit each work only once.

– Respect submission deadlines.

IMPORTANT: Check the subject area chosen for submission.

Carefully read the description of the topics and analyze in which topic your article fits better. Your chance of approval will be greater that way.

Steps to submit your work online:

Author registration: It is important to update the data, as the last information recorded is the one that will appear in the author’s work identification.

Co-author registrations: The person responsible for the submission must link all other authors registered in the system to the article being submitted. Before clicking the END button, make sure the names included in the article’s authorship are correct.

Register the work data in the following order:

– Thematic area.

– Title of the work.

– Information regarding the author(s): highest academic title, institution to which they belong, address and ZIP code, e-mail and contact phone number.

– Structured Summary (see details by modality).

– Key words.

– Paper format: A4;
– Font: Times New Roman/size 12;
– Spacing: simple, text arranged in a column;
– Alignment: justified;
– Margins: Top: 3 cm; bottom: 2 cm; left: 3 cm; right: 2 cm.

When submitting the article, in the work submission page (step 1), the Structured Summary must be filled out and include:
– Title (maximum 190 characters);
– Keywords (3 words);
– Introduction (maximum 600 characters);
– Research and Objective Problem (maximum 600 characters);
– Theoretical Foundation (maximum 600 characters);
– Discussion (maximum 600 characters);
– Conclusion (maximum 600 characters);
– Bibliographic References (maximum 600 characters).

Papers that are not in the specified format will not be accepted. Work formatting:

Informações sobre o processo de avaliação

The articles will be evaluated by two reviewers, indicated by the topic leaders, according to the ‘blind review’ system.

For Academic Articles, the following aspects will be considered in the evaluation:

  • adequacy to the event proposal (elimination criterion)

  • context in which the research is inserted

  • description of the “state-of-the-art” of thematic literature

  • methodological rigor of the research

  • adequate and clear display of results

  • mechanisms for discussion of results and conclusions, according to the objectives proposed in the article, and empirical for the subject.

  • theoretical and empirical contributions to the topic

For Scientific Initiation works, the same aspects will be considered, but the examiners will take into account that it is an initial research work.

For Academic Essays, the following aspects will be considered in the evaluation:

  • adequacy to the event proposal (elimination criterion)

  • adequate and clear exposition of the author’s ideas and points of view on topics related to Sustainable Development, based on bibliographical research (it is not necessary to explore the theme exhaustively)

  • originality in approach

For Management Practice Reports works (Technical or Technological Reports), the following points will be considered in the assessment:

  • adequacy to the event proposal (elimination criterion)

  • clear identification of the problem to be solved and the purpose of the article

  • adequate and clear display of results

  • mechanisms for discussion of results and conclusions, according to the objectives proposed in the article, and empirical for the subject.

  • empirical contributions to the topic
