EVENT

ENGEMA – International Meeting on Business Management and the Environment at FEA/USP – School of Economics, Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo, with the support of FIA – Fundação Instituto de Administração (Administration Institute Foundation) – is an annual academic event that promotes scientific-technological production exchanges and discussions about Ecological and Socioeconomic Sustainability Management, with contributions from Brazil and abroad.

It is considered a pioneer event in Brazil, which preceded Rio 92. Due to its importance, it has developed a loyal community interested in the diverse and highly relevant theme of sustainability. The event aims at being inclusive, offering both experienced researchers and beginners the opportunity to participate, be them from the academic, business or public areas. Because of this, it includes renowned speakers, researchers, professors, graduate and undergraduate students with scientific initiation projects, as well as professionals from public and private organizations interested in knowing, contributing to and discussing trends in sustainability management.

Submitted surveys are evaluated through the double blind review system. Approved works are published in the event and posted on its website. The best classified works in the evaluation system are indicated to participate in the fast track of important national and international journals.

During its last edition in 2020, ENGEMA was organized in an online format for the first time, with a record participation of 650 authors, fact that shows the importance of the sustainability theme today. We believe this has been the event focused on a specialized theme with the highest rate of attendees in Brazil in a single edition.

The 2021 edition will take place on November 29 and 30 in the online format and will feature the following activities: scientific sessions for the articles’ presentations, technological reports, essays and teaching cases, Master and Doctoral consortia, workshops, methodological short courses and other activities.

We are looking forward to seeing you as a new member of our fraternal and cohesive community, and we expect to see our dear friends and colleagues again in this upcoming and even more vibrant edition of XXIII ENGEMA.
